The PP's suggestion of Greek yogurt/granola/blueberries is a good one! Hard boiled egg. I like Larabars (the aldi's version of 'apple pie' and 'chocolate chip' are really good! ) when I'm on the go. The Fairlife protein shakes.

What dose are you on OP? I'm on 1 mg and will not be going any higher- it's very effective for me and I don't want to get side effects from a higher dose. I've lost 35 lbs since last Aug. so it's been a modest, not fast, speed and that's good.

Ugh, this isn’t food. These are “food products.”

So, I have the box of Aldi elevation bars 'apple pie' right here. Contains dried apple, almonds, dates, walnuts and less than 2% raisins and cinnamon. That's it. What 'food products' are they, exactly?

This. If I am late eating breakfast, I start to feel sick. I have also found that greasy food makes me feel queasy, but I can eat yogurt, oats, nuts, fruit, etc. Sometimes I will make a smoothie with fruit and plain Greek yogurt, and then sprinkle on some All Bran or Grape Nuts. Hard boiled eggs on toast is great, too! For most of my meals, I try to focus on ensuring I have protein and veggies or fruit — which is what I did before Wegovy, but Wegovy ensures I feel satiated after a meal. Weight loss is slow (about 35 pounds since last July), but it’s been great.

Can you reduce your dose, OP?

I don't have the same experience with side effects, but I find a Premier Priotein shake is always palatable to me and it's my fallback when I can't get healthy real food for whatever reason.

My go to recently is a Greek yogurt with some granola sprinkled in and blueberries. Maybe a little honey drizzled on the top. I can keep it down. It has a decent amount of calories and protein.

Yes, that's me on metformin. You have to force yourself to eat so you don't eat the bad stuff. Thankfully I will eat the protein packed oatmeal and cucumber salads.

In the beginning I had more side effects and sometimes I just ate what I thought would be okay with my stomach, although that tended to be reasonably healthy.

Now a year in I have way fewer or no side effects and also much more food noise, so I can eat more or less whatever I choose.

This happened for me on Rybelsus, and I lost very little weight. Had nasty GI side effects as well. I gave up on it pretty early on. But I wasn't all that invested -- I actually didn't want to go on it, my pc doc's NP put me on it when I started having knee pain she said weight loss would fix (she was wrong, but that is a whole other thing). My new doctor says I would have done better on injectibles. I do need to focus on weight loss, and I'm having some FOMO, but will likely not go with ozempic or wegovy or whatever. But never say never, desperation to lose weight plus my fomo may overcome that.

My eating is terrible with semaglutide. I feel repulsed by most foods and postpone eating, then I am ravenous for something comforting, like toast with nutella, eat it and then feel awful, and repeat. So I am losing weight slowly, and miserably, with terrible nausea worse than morning sickness a lot of the time. Can anyone else relate?
