Thanks. Reporting with the #audit tool is the best response. That is very helpful.

Mine was for Inspira financials (using a Windows OS laptop with Chrome). I reported it using #audit. I had it on two pages - one was just the forum index, the other was the Pets forum - and when I reported it on one page, the other one seemed to go away as well.

You are correct. It’s a big AmEx ad, and I can get it to go away on my iPad if I switch from landscape to portrait. Doesn’t happen on the phone.

Yes, iPad in landscape. I’ve all but given up DCUM via iPad.

Those of you who are seeing this with iPads, are you using portrait or landscape orientation? I have a suspicion that this is mostly, and maybe only, happening in landscape mode.

I saw this last night too. Chrome, iPad. I have not seen it this morning but am on my iPhone.

And it just popped up again after I sent this post. It’s an ad for American Express.

I am seeing this regularly- and it is much more frequent this morning for some reason. I’m using an iPad mini with Safari as my browser.

Can those of you seeing this ad please list what device and browser you are using?

I am getting it too in Chrome. I will try the Audit trick.

If you are able, add "#audit" to the end of the url in your browsers's address bar, like this:

https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1186792.page#audit

and hit return. An overlay should appear that says "report" over each ad. If these ads have the option to report them, please do so. Otherwise, try to take a screenshot.

I can only pass these complaints on to our ad partner and I know that this is not enough information for them to work with.

I am getting this too. Some ad with a dog and "enjoy the silence." Couldn't read the text on that page and couldn't scroll past it.

This shouldn't be happening obviously, but I have not seen such an ad (and I used my iPad for quite a while this morning). Can you take a screen shot? Also these ads seem to affect Chrome more than Safari for some reason. You might try using Safari and see if the problem continues.

Since last evening, when I get to the second page of most threads, I get an ad covering about half the page (and half the text of the thread). No way to x out of it, and it’s happening in more than one forum. Obviously, it makes DCUM unreadable. I shut down my browser and IPad, etc. and restarted, and it kept happening. Reading DCUM on a newer model iPad, using Chrome, if that matters. Is there a fix?
