Anonymous wrote:Have a senior who has had a good experience. As others said, it’s small, which we like. My kid has had good teachers. He takes a lot of AP and IB classes and has done well at on the exams, which I take to mean the teaching is solid. One downside of a smaller school is having fewer classes to choose from and somewhat tougher scheduling, but we have managed to work it out.
Also, since I know this matters a lot to many, he has so far had good success with his college applications. I think he has done better than he might have if he were at a larger MCPS school, though that’s just a guess.
