I wish I could help. We have hypotonia, and it could be 600+ different things. It can also be benign.

No, not related. Ehlers-Danlos is associated with low muscle tone, hypertonia is the exact opposite.

Anyone have a child with hypertonia who can share their experience, what has helped, and if you have an underlying dx?

DC is 9 months - due to constant hyperextending/rigidity, we got a referral to a neurologist, who ordered a brain MRI. There may be some asymmetry as well. DC is in PT for torticollis and currently meeting gross and fine motor milestones.

I have another kid with hypotonia and some other challenges, so I’m unfortunately not new to this world. But aside from CP, I don’t have a sense of what could be causing the muscle issues.
