My child was accepted to one of the invitation only programs, but we are playing Round 2 of the lottery to see if she can get into another DC lottery, as the invitation magnet program is a longer commute. We are on the fence and have to respond very soon.

Does anyone know by accepting that invitation, it takes you out of the Lottery (which will be announced later in March)? Or, are they separate tracks? Does DCC process seem needlessly complicated to anyone else?
