I'm not sure where you're looking b/c it's on every outlet. Capital Weather Gang. Natl. Weather Service. Jay's Wintry Mix. But it is a volatile forecast and will depend how it shifts.

I don’t see snow in the forecast. It’s not even falling to 32 degrees. Where are you getting your forecast?

Don’t you have some homework to do? You want to be sure to finish the second half of 8th grade strong.

Ummm, she's been very cautious. But let's be serious. It's not her who makes these calls.

How about everyone just chill out and see what happens? And whatever happens, just deal with it for once?

The forecast is all over and FFX is right on the edge of the snow. And people do have to commute in, which may also lead to a delay, which is perfectly reasonable.

Snow is forecast (up to 1") but so far Reid has not been cautious about weather at all. I would be astonished if there's a delay.

Where? MoCo? Loudoun?

West Springfield

In MoCo and Loudoun, they have a Winter Weather Advisory.

It is going to rain heavily overnight and then as it is winding down it’ll probably turn to a little snow. It shouldn’t accumulate much, but there is a chance for a burst that could whiten the roads temporarily.

They've managed to do no such thing so far, and got the calls right. IF there is heavy snow in the 5-7 AM window, there will likely be a delay. There isn't cold enough air mass there for a closing, but bad weather when kids are off to school justifies that call.

Prepare for a delay tomorrow. Reid will overreact to little amounts of ice/snow/both.
