Yep, did this last year and maybe year before. Enjoy the day off.

Catholic boys schools in B’more do this as well, generally tied to some community service benchmark, eg if student body donates x number of cans, then dat after Super Bowl is off. It’s really nice - boys love it.

Usually parents get a notice a little before the kids do.
