My son got an email stating that some people were offered admission early but that his application was still under consideration and he would receive a decision on March 28.

Also this- DC can go in early March for scholarship interviews…
… a small number of students will receive notification of their decision in February. Most of these students will be nominees for Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholarships, a process that has traditionally been initiated during this time of year … majority of first-year applicants still will receive their decisions at the end of March, via the MAP@Berkeley portal.

I assure you, it’s not BS. Read a bit more before you lash out. Some admissions were released at UCB yesterday.

Wow, that’s really extraordinary - I thought that only 2% of those accepted are accepted in the early cycle. Sounds like your school will have a lot of Bears this admissions cycle!
