I’d expect at least 45 minutes for a regular delivery and be happy if it’s faster.

+1 That’s how it works for all of them in my experience. You can look into restaurants that have their own delivery drivers. Not many left, but a few.

I am so tired of f_ing door dash. Today I didn't pay the $3 to have my order sent directly to me, so instead of arriving in the originally estimated 30 minutes, now it says it won't arrive for what will end up being 65 minutes because the driver is making other stops. I am so pissed. It will be cold, and we'll have to rush to eat because my kids have practice. What service does not require me to pay EXTRA to have my food delivered straight to me from the restaurant?
