Heavy apps + dessert at my book club. I typically serve homemade guacamole, tiny meatballs in a sauce, a dip with crackers, a salad for the heathy ladies, mini quiches or a flatbread pizza. We arrive hungry!

My book club is sweet and generous, but people always bring the most random collection of snacks, so my themes don't always work, but I try!

We do a combo of apps and dessert.

Usually some kind of cheese and crackers, hummus and veggies and chips, or chips and guac / salsa, etc. Sometimes a kind of nuts or fruit salad. And usually something sweet too.

Related to the book or season if possible - but not always possible.

Honestly? Our book club has turned into a food club. It didn't matter how long we went between meetings, everyone always struggled to finish the book. So we have transitioned to a food club. Never been happier!

Definitely something related to the book.
