You are outrageously stupid. The first thing she says is it's COOKED kale.

Please stay off this website.

I think this poster was replying to the OP, saying “Yes [it is ok to eat 1 lb of cooked kale per day]”….

I understand they were replying. HOWEVER OP said COOKED and PP said raw. What an idiot.

A pound a day? You'll be so sick of kale in no time so I wouldn't worry about it.

It's probably fine.

It's a lot of calcium (raw), about 1100 mg. I think cooking it reduces it by 60-70%?

Kale is low in oxalates. Spinach is super high in oxalates so avoid spinach if watching oxalate intake

Why do people post such obviously easily disproven falsehoods? Are you a troll?

I eat maybe 10+ fruits and veggies a day along with gains and fiber so I think it’s pretty diverse already! But I could definitely try different veggies. I think this is a temporary fad that I’ll lean into for now— just wanted to make sure it’s not a bad one.

Lately, I’ve been eating about one pound (16 oz cooked) of kale a day. Maybe it’s a temporary craving but I love it. Wondering if anyone here knows if there’s a possible health downside to this? I’m vegetarian so my body is already used to lots of veggies.
I tried googling but there’s just so many junk websites so I thought I’d try here.
