Wear a long, warm winter coat. Warm shoes if you’ll be walking. Turtleneck and scarf. Bring a hat and gloves. Dress in layers.

Wear mostly black with a pop of color on your scarf.

No flashy jewelry.

Small crossbody under your coat. Google the spate of recent robberies with people on scooters grabbing purses.

This is all too much if you’re walking around. I live in NYC and was just out walking in a sweatshirt and short puffer, no hat, gloves or scarf. I was warm and faintly sweaty!

That's when the VAMPYRES come out!

OMG stop

Stop what?

I have friends and family in the fancy parts of nyc and the more reasonable parts. Been there for generations. And I have family friends on the police force.

If you haven’t been there in recent months, it’s changed. Be careful.

Well that's great but doesn't really answer OP's question. It's just fear mongering.

What? NY still feels safer than DC
I'm landing on my long down puffer, cashmere hat and gloves, platform hightops, suede midiskirt and cashmere sweater layered with silk t-shirf if it starts feeling warm inside.

This is odd and not experience at all. Where were you walking?? But it's not going to be flip flop weather, regardless.

A light, packable down coat should be fine. Plus pants and closed shoes bc it's still chilly. If you're in the DC area you should be familiar with this type of weather.

People start laying out in Central Park when the temps hit 50 in the winter.

Fri/Sat/Sun

36/52, 38/55, 39/50.

Cloudy all days (from my phone)

You need some sort of coat at least for the evenings. It is not flip flop weather unless you are the type who wears them in the snow.

What do I wear? This warm weather has got me all sorts of confused. Looks sort of blustery hi/lo 56/40. Do i need my long puffer? White tee shirt under a sweater? And flip flops? Do i need a pedi tomorrow
