They’re supposed to be changed every so often so the password I have is probably outdated. Like the person above me, it’s not an issue if I ask my kids.

As a parent, I'm entitled to all my child's passwords. But, its never been an issue and they just give it to me.

OP here. Yes, I agree with all of the above—it seems to be required. I guess what I'm asking about is whether a) it seems weird to anyone else that MCPS requires kids systemwide to share their passwords with other people (even though I recognize that in this case it's their parents/guardians), and b) whether there is any kind of MCPS policy about parent access to kids' accounts one way or the other (i.e. clarifying under what circumstances students should expect their digital accounts to be private or not).

There are constantly times I need to be logged in as one my kids to access a particular form, course registration, etc. Make sure they tell you whenever they have to change their password!

I just got an email yesterday that requires me to use my kid's account to submit a form to provide parental input. Although I know my parentview password, I have to get my kid's from them since I don't normally use it. TLDR you need your kid's password.
