My kid did not apply to V but we toured and the business school looks amazing.

My kid loved Villanova when he toured. That said, he chose another top school.

OP, it could be that your kid is looking at top business schools (top 50). Villanova is ranked #62.

Lots of kids from this area go to Villanova, more so from the Catholic Schools. Yes, it is very PA/NJ heavy, but there are plenty of kids from the DMV. From my DCs private, probably one student a year goes there, but many more if you were to look at Catholic schools. Great Business school and with the addition of ED1 and 2 over the past decade, its gotten much harder to get into.

You're kidding, right? It's nationally known, particularly for business/economics. So, maybe your business major son should do a little more research.

Villanova is known nationally. Strange your kid hasn’t heard of it because chances are he has a better chance there..maybe..then Penn but go ahead and visit Penn.

My Jr DS wants to go visit UPenn. I suggested we see Villanova while we are in the area. He said - Villa-who? Never heard of it. No one has heard of it. I want to go some place known.

We are in NoVa — public school. Is there anyone you know that’s gone? Is it more of a PA/NJ school??

He wants business probably. Maybe international relations/business.
