Should be noted though that the best teams will figure out some mix during a match because it's all about problem solving during it if the base style isn't producing.
Bethesda has great individual players because they have the whole county and it is a great diverse county. Like most of America, they possess well when they are the better team. Possession teams tend to do much better in the older age groups. Bethesda teams do better in the younger age groups where good individuals shine and their teams get worse as they get older.
I don’t think anyone would say Bethesda has good coaching. They just have no competition.

By your count, 2 out of 6 teams playing a form of possession makes the club possession?

1) Hybrid
2) Direct
3) Uber-direct or “Direct on Steroids”

Union - possession
VDA - direct
Arlington - ??
NVA - possession?
Bethesda - ??

And what style of play do you see among the top D1 women's college teams? I'm hoping to find some consolidated data. I found consolidated data on the men's side here: https://totalfootballanalysis.com/data-analysis/styles-usa-ncaa-division-1-college-soccer-data-analysis-statistics. But I couldn't find any similar analysis on the women's side.

You've never watched NVA 09 or 07 then.
