Are these kids concentrated in certain schools or private school kids? They also need to be in the northern part of the county to be zoned for ERHS vs Flowers or Oxon Hill.
Anonymous wrote:Remember that not everyone who gets accepted goes to ERHS. I would expect most of the kids at the Academy of Sciences would have been accepted. Over the years I've know a lot of kids who got into ERHS and then went to private schools on scholarships. I'm not sure how far down the wait list they go but there is movement.

What is not clear is whether they take the kids with the top 250 scores or if they create a cut point and do a lottery of the kids above the cut point.
