I didn't want to complicate the post, but they (I have two drivers now) are now sharing our second car which is a 2010 so older (and working fine, we all like it!). We also have a newer car dh and I drive. The issue is kids have a lot of activities and different practices so sharing the second car does not cut it anymore. The new 3rd car and the used car we have now are both for them driving for the most part during the week especially.
Hmm. Well clearly you've got your heart set on buying a car for your kids.
So now it's a game of how many you're going to shoot down, since you're not giving us much to go on, apart from a potty mouth.
Tesla with tax credit?
Mazda of some kind?
Dodge Excreta?
What does "exciting" mean to you? What does it mean to your kids? Interesting that you don't tell us what they'd like. This is so obviously reliving the glory days for you.
