I actually use estradiol gel and mix a lentil sized amount with a basic moisturizer for at night. I have gel leftover from when I was trying that method of HRT. It works really well - keeps my skin plump and moist. Usually by this time of winter my face feels super dry after I wash it at night. But that doesn’t happen anymore. I’d say it’s at least as effective as prescription tret but not at all irritating or drying.

I was just at my derm and asked about this. She told me that being on hrt was enough and that I wouldn’t see any extra results from the estrogen face cream.

Curious too. I use the estradiol patch - which is currently on back order at my pharmacy. I take it you need a prescription for the face cream?
