It was never really any different in 9th grade. They can call it IB English or Hon English.

In tenth, most IB students take AP English.

Where do they still offer PIB classes? Ours is not allowed to.

Yes. In Honors, AP, IB, and Advanced Level classes, an A is worth 5 grade points in the weighted GPA.
