I did online, as did everyone I know. You also have a few weeks to enroll to your match, so it could wait until you return. Only waitlist offers come with a 7 day deadline.

I’ve always completed enrollment online for DCPS.

You can also just drop by the school almost any day after matched.

I'm planning to enroll my child in a DC school for the first time after the lottery results are out - but while we're DC residents we're temporarily out of the area during "enrollment saturday" and the other dates on myschooldc. I really can't tell from the website - Do some/all schools only have in-person enrollment? Does your kid need to come to the enrollment session? Or can you do it easily online?
