Boston. No college student complains about crime there.

My DC also wanted to be in a city & there aren’t many colleges that are not in a bad part of town.

Pitt
Carnegie Mellon
SMU
TCU
Rice
Vanderbilt
Texas (impossible to get into from OOS)
U Denver
Miami

Tulane is in a nicer part of New Orleans, but crime in New Orleans is bad (although it seems to have recently taken a turn for the better, fingers crossed it holds)

People have posted GaT above, and it is in a bad part of Atlanta

Pitt, Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh. Oakland used to be dicy but it's not anymore.

University of Charleston.

Emory.

I'd be fine with the universities in Philly, personally.

Tulane.

Most of the others I can think of have been posted.

Any suggestions where to look where it’s relatively safe?

- U. Washington

It’s in Seattle

Ravenna and u district are safe

It’s beautiful

- U Minnesota is another option

- UCLA

- SMU (Dallas) - beautiful campus, beautiful students, safe neighborhood

Northwesteen isn’t in Chicago technically but Evanston is pretty safe and close enough

Drexel and Penn are fine with a lot of visible security.
