I took a 10% pay cut to do every other Friday off, no regrets. 2 days a week in office, 2/3 at home.

I did 4 10-hour days dod 6 years and I LOVED it.

My WFH week is basically a 3-day workweek, so no thank you.

I guess it would be good if I was forced back into the office but only if that 4-day week isn't the result of needing to do four 10-hour days. I did that for 2 years in my early 20s and hated it so much.

It's great if it's actually a 4 day workweek, but a lot of places you end up working on Friday anyway.

It depends on how many hours per day are expected and the type of work you do. I worked two different versions of a compressed schedule in the past. I hated both, but I especially hated working 10-hour days (plus an unpaid lunch). It might just be me, but it's difficult to be productive every single work day for 9-10 hours.

Would you lean toward a job offering this as an option (all else being equal)?
