He sounds like my husband. My husband is generally pretty quiet and laid back but he can turn on a switch and do the same thing. He’d probably drive me nuts if he was that in command and confident all the time. Any strength used to excess can become a weakness.

I "knew" a man who weighed 130 pounds, looked like Crispin Glover and had no money (worked as a librarian!) and was a total womanizer. I think the secret was that he would notice many unique things about a woman that were NOT looks based. He would make her feel special and like the only woman in the world without ever saying anything about her appearance since that would have given her all the power. Of course it was all bull since he jumped from woman to woman but it worked for him.

This thread so far is the exact reason why so many men get dumped by their wives. The vast majority of women don’t have what some these women want in a man.

Unless the woman is introverted herself he will not pay attention to you. Introverted men tend to be shy as well, which is really a turn off for many women. Make a woman feel seen and like they are important and the only person in the room. Really listen to them and ask good questions. And then don't give off a whiff of desperation. If they're not vibing with you move on immediately.

So I guess confidence combined with a good personality.

+1. These type of men have confidence. I personally think it’s innate. You can certainly work on it, but some men just have it, and sadly I am not one of them.

A lot of tall guys exude a lot of confidence and charisma and are women magnets with some other obvious deficits. Agree personality goes a long way. Women will overlook more than men will in the looks department, I think.

I think at the time in our life when most of us are dating and meeting our spouse, money is mostly a non-factor?

Well these men you are talking about are often not married and/or get divorced shortly after getting married. They also tend to go through a lot of relationships. Further, the so called attractive women that pay attention to them have issues of their own. These women want a trophy boyfriend/husband as well. Don’t envy these type of guys. You see a guy hot or not with a smoking hot guy and you wish you were that guy nope be happy you are not.

That’s the issue because the vast majority of men can’t do anything about the money issue.

What do the men who get the attractive women do differently from us regular guys? Some of these men are not attractive themselves, but they seem to have “it” when it comes to attracting very good looking and/or sexy women.

Granted I am an introvert, I know my limits as far as the type of women who will pay attention to me. But I would love to up my game and would love to hear from men and women what these men do right that others don’t.
