We have devolved into animals. I think it is time to bring back The Code of Hammurabi. It’s the only way people barely above animalistic instincts ever get the message. Steal? Chop off the hand. People like this will never be reformed, frankly, and are a danger to society. He should be locked away for a very very long time. Hell, given the current crime wave, putting people like him away for max allowable sentence may be very beneficial to society at large.
