I've incorporated puzzles into my evening routine w/my middle school kids - we do the mini, connections, and spelling bee together most nights.

I do the mini before I have my coffee, and the daily crossword with my coffee. At this point I’m pretty good so I can breeze through Monday through Thursday before I have to leave to take the kid to school. Friday I can sometimes finish and sometimes have to come back to. Saturday and Sunday I Airplay onto the TV and work on them with my spouse. It’s one of my favorite parts of the weekend.

Connections I knock off sometime during the day. I’ve gotten bored with both Wordle and Spelling Bee. Sometimes I do sudoku, but I’m not very good at anything above easy!

You don't do spelling bee OP?!

My order is Wordle, mini, connections, and then, lastly, spelling bee. Spelling bee is last because I might go back to it throughout the day to find more words. I'm impressed by those who have gotten queen bee. I have never gotten that. My sister gets it regularly, I am frequently genius level, but alas never queen bee

I also do the crossword puzzle, but that's not a daily puzzle for me,

Don’t love:
Vertex

Sodoku

Great they have different games for different folks

Tiles is dumb and mindless -- I like doing it while listening to audiobooks because I can concentrate better on listening if I'm doing something mindless with my hands.

My tweens and teens do. The games have probably done more to improve their vocabulary than any other single intervention. Thanks nyt.

I do them all first thing in the morning. Can’t really start my day until I get Queen Bee.

I don’t go to bed until I’ve played the Mini, Wordle and Connections. It helps me settle my mind to focus on those puzzles from everything else in my day.

I got today’s mini in 1:21 today. Just waiting for Wordle and Connections to drop now…

Are you one of my relatives?
Yes, I do the three you mentioned almost every night at midnight, as do several of my familly members.

Anyone else feel like connections was really difficult when it first came out, then seemed to get really easy, and now seems a bit harder again?

I do the main crossword first thing in the day (or since I’m up late, now). I do the Connections when I get home from work. I do the Spelling Bee randomly when I feel like it.
