What does this even mean? You’ve given no indication of how you pronounce it other than adding a hyphen (we already know it has 2 syllables). Which syllable do you accent? Is the “e” a short-e or long-e sound? How do you pronounce the ”i”?


You're right, you don't know what it means. A "long e" sound is "ee" not "e", which is SHORT! Perhaps english isn't your first language?
