My spouse’s dream was Princeton. They were waitlisted. They are very successful professionally and happy in life. Don’t make that dream college such a big deal. They will find their place elsewhere.

Transferring in a year is always an option.

The kicker is, my ds' girlfriend got in, she didn't submit test scores and she doesn't even really want to go. It was a rough night here.

Ugh but I guess still change from deferred. What will you send in? What's his second choice?

Meant still chance not change. Yes the others getting in totally stings when they don't want it!! His friend will prob go to wisconsin which makes it all the more upsetting.

In what way? Don't think that's accurate.

It’s hard seeing our kids struggle and be disappointed. That’s about it.

Agree. But he want UGA over UMD. We did get offered a little money from them so that's good.

Let him sulk for a day or two, but then your job is to get him thinking about his amazing options - UGA and UMD and any others.

Meant he was accepted to UMD which is amazing but he has no interest in it sadly.

He has good options don't get me wrong, but his #1 and 2 were wisconsin and tx. Got deferred to Wisconsin and am expecting a rejection from TX.
(Business major).

Currently his top choice is UGA of one's he's in is UGA. I know it's a bloodbath but the wisconsin one is killing me. Especially because his close friend got in. We visited and loved so much. He even loves the cold lol.

He does currently have straight A's but what else can we do or send? (Was also deferred at Michigan)

Got into UMD but not into. Just a vent. I can't believe we will have no idea where he's going until the spring. So torturous.
