I am surprised you don't have a 10 week appt at your OB. That's when they did my NIPT both times and also it's just a little comforting to go in and get familiar with the practice. Don't let them scrimp and be stingy with appts. My insurance covered 100% of these appts - also had 12w ultrasound etc.
We about paying for extra appts they told us the re's that don't hold two insurance policies can't see pregnant people past 9 weeks
12 weeks is the earliest we can get in. It's a new to us practice and we called the day of our + beta this is the earliest they can see us. We are on the wait-list and hope something pops up before.
I really want to call a smaller local practice and see if they will see us. Not even tell them we are IVF and just have them do a ultrasound
