I have a 2012 sienna with 160k miles on it. I get about 16 mpg city and 22-ish on the highway. Very conservative driver and do all scheduled maintenance. If you're ok with mileage like that then go for it.

Failed the IIHS side impact crash test spectacularly. Like really bad, the seat detached. Yes, they have "fixed" this, but even on the retest they did not do great. Seems pretty irresponsible of the designers to me.

Own odyssey, usually rent Pacificas but they had a Carnival last time. Felt closer to the Odyssey than a Pacifica but they are all pretty similar.

I'm the opposite- have always driven Hondas, and think the Sienna interior feels uncomfortable and looks cheap to me

My Mom drives a Toyota Sienna (1999) and while old >> that vehicle is solid!

She has been driving that thing for decades & it has always been a loyal + remarkable vehicle.

She drives it across the state still and it never breaks down!

Highly recommend! 😃

Because the new ones are $40-$50k, obviously.

I just paid 41k for an Odyssey at the highest trim level with all the bells and whistles and only 6k miles on it. All of the comparable listings at CarMax were 3-4k more. I didn’t do a lot of shopping around, so you might find a better deal.

We picked the Honda Odyssey, but I don't think you can go wrong with either. If you test drive them both, I think it will be obvious which one is right for you

New one are first trim 42K+ out the door right? 32K can get higher trim. Do see more Sienna hybrid for used and wondering why?

That Sienna interior was just a dealbreaker for me.

Not in rush but do need 7 seater. Now can see lot used Odyssey, Sienna available.
if negotiate can get under 32K with 25 K some mileage?
This car is not going to use lot just for family vacations or few short trips around the year.
so don't see point of paying $$ for hybrid Sienna. Am I thinking right?
