I found that I preferred having a larger, non-travel stroller living by in the city. We walk everywhere and it's nicer to have something more comfortable for both your kid and fir you to push. Also loved having storage for groceries, library books, picnic stuff, etc. As my kid got older and walked more, we'd still often bring the stroller as a place to throw items like jackets, her scooter, bags, etc., but then could also use it fir her on the way home if she was exhausted from walking.

My DH was sad to give up our Citi Mini GT even though initially he was opposed to such a large stroller. We are way past stroller age at this point, but sometimes I miss it too!

We have a Joolz Aer as our only stroller. Love it. Our nanny-share family has a setup similar to yours and just parked the Vista in their entryway with their shoes/coats.

I have used a citi mini for all 4 kids. It's a great stroller. Just got the travel version of the double.

Well made, spacious, easy to fold and unfold.

This is good advice. It’s also bassinet compatible so usable from birth.

No don’t do it. Love the yoyo for travel to put it in the overhead but that’s it. It’s a pain to use w/ the infant car seat adapter and a pain to fold w/ the infant pack. Also my 6’3” dh could never really push it bc it’s just too low. We lived in the city and really wanted to like it but it sucks for walking uneven surfaces such as old sidewalks, came go up curbs, etc. We have 4 kids so have gone through so many iterations of single and double strollers. By far my favorite is the city mini GT. One handed, easy fold, great basket, folds nearly flat for infant, the sunshade is awesome and actually works, has a high weight limit, etc. I wish I have never wasted money on the other ones (and we bought them all - bugaboo, cybex, etc)

We were also looking at the baby jogger city tour? Or city mini. They have a newer one that folds it quite travel size but just smaller footprint

Can you get a used uppababy to keep with the bikes? For using in the neighborhood?

I don’t really like my Yo-yo. I would never ever use it for a baby under 6 months. It has zero suspension and tips over easily. I agree with others you need a proper infant stroller with a bassinet for early days. Get a used one. Then sell and get yo-yo or similar when baby is older and less fragile.

I live in a fairly walkable suburb. We baby wore the early months, then a travel stroller and baby wearing combo later on. No complaints. Home space is also an issue for us.

No porch. We live in the city. Apartment high rise building. We don't feel comfortable keeping the stroller with the bikes.

We plan to do a bit of walking. Storage I guess isn't as big of a deal. Help me not over pack.

If you have a porch or something without stairs, I’d consider getting the yo-yo or whatever you want but then also getting a used bigger one for the neighborhood that you can leave on the porch. An old uppababy or something. The bigger ones are way easier to push over crummy sidewalks. Then you get sort of the best of both worlds.

I use a YoYo as my everyday stroller. Live in NYC, lots of walking and no real issues with it. The undercarriage is small so not great for hauling a lot (if that’s your thing).

I love my Yo-yo but not for walks. The most I’ve done is a zoo day. It’s not very substantial - it’s literally a stroller made for traveling, point a to point b. I’d get a jogging stroller instead if you only want one, it’s smaller than the Vista. You’ll need to borrow something for newborn days though.

What is your stairs and storage situation? Do you have a porch or somewhere you can stash a stroller easily?

Has anyone used the yoyo with infant pack or bassinet as their only stroller? City living, not much of reading. Open to buying the skis for snow but don't know how necessary that is.

Anyway anyone use this from birth as their only stroller. We want to avoid buying a bigger everyday use one and also a travel stroller
