We are at Rosa Park too. I don’t know who drives the burgundy Jeep but next time you see that, take down the license plate and call the nonemergency number so that they can address it with him when they have a chance. Kids bike and walk home and have to go on the street that’s already busy with buses and cars. And you’ll have a larger audience posting this on the only community Facebook group.

You'd be better off talking to someone at the school who can monitor that sidewalk. Or talk to the parent yourself. Or report to the non-emergency police line and have a plainclothes care waiting to ticket him.

If your husband drives a burgundy Jeep suv, please tell him not to park on the sidewalk during pick up.

It’s unbelievable that one wouldn’t realize your car is blocking the walkway, forcing kids into the street to pass.

Ditto for the other burgundy suv who pulled up on the sidewalk behind the first car.
