+1 I use Google Sheets or LibreOffice. And agree with PP, the only reason to use Excel is if you either have very large amounts of data or you need the bells and whistles that Excel has that Google doesn't.

Excel is a bit easier to use than LibreOffice, but for my use either Sheets or LibreOffice works, and I do have very large amounts of data that I work with.

IMO, Google Apps is better than Microsoft for sharing purposes.

I think google suite is perfectly suitable for home use. The exception might be if you were a heavy excel user.

I have a family subscription to Office 365 that is coming due for renewal. Since my kids use Google for school, should I drop the family Office plan? I didn't know I had the family plan and the kids have never used it.
