Lehigh, Bentley, Colgate, Northeastern, Boston College, BU, Fordham, UMass, Santa Clara, San Diego?

Firstly, any school with a single digit (or under 20%) acceptance rate is a REACH for everyone.

So NEU, BC, BU are all Reaches for everyone. They are not targets

You have an excellent student. I would recommend you consider ED to a top school.

Babson, not Brandon - not sure why spellcheck did that

Good suggestions by PP's. I'd add UMiami and Villanova as target schools

UCLA has bus econ major, not business undergrad

For target
Bay Area - Santa Clara (you'll need to demonstrate interest)

LA - LMU and Chapman- These are great choices if your D wants to work in LA, esp film/tv industry; otherwise they have more regional rep

SD - USD and SDSU. USD shows up on lists but I don't know anyone who has attended. SDSU reputation on whole is really rising, but have no personal knowledge either.

Cal Poly SLO - good rep but wouldn't recommend for OOS business.

This is a great list for CA and spot on!

UVA and Babson College are highly regarded for their undergraduate business programs.

My older dd had a very similar high school profile (3.87 uw/4.3w, 1500 SAT, high level athletics, NHS, volunteering, job, good recs) and is at Lehigh (sophomore) Tons of smart, driven PA/NY/NJ kids. She loves it - secured a very competitive internship for this summer.
Friend with similar/slightly better profile is at Wake forest for business. Says it's a little small/southern thing is an adjustment, but likes it.

DC, a current junior from NJ private and interested in business, is curating a list of colleges/universities in the East Coast and CA. We are struggling to identify target schools. Not interested in liberal art schools.

Stats below, although I appreciate that it doesn't capture the "wholistic" nature of application review these days (for whatever that means):

-GPA: 3.91/4 unwghted
-Highest rigor and course load
-Unhooked female
-SAT: 1570 (one and done)
-ECs - standard good (with consistency and commitment), lots of leadership & community service, but no impressive/national awards, two sports athlete (one at varsity since 10 grade).

Any suggestions for targets?
