Sorry, I stopped caring about the awful CVS at 14 and Irving NW closing three weeks ago when it was announced. No way! Couldn’t it just sell stuff right in front on the street as it’s been doing? Street criminals, I mean vendors, will not have to steal, I mean procure, their wares from a farther CVS. Human rights are in the balance!

It's a tough business model when a store has rent and other fixed expenses, and then has a lot of its merchandise stolen and then re-sold outside by pop-up vendors who offer the stolen goods at a fraction of the retail price.

Guess that's "equity" - DC style.
