Absolutely this. When I'm stuck behind someone like that, it's not that they are cautious or whatever. They are totally checked out and THAT is inconsiderate. Especially when it comes to fewer people getting thru a left turn signal at a busy intersection etc bc drivers are not paying attention.

Don't be triggered by an occasional honk.


Yes-- there are many busy intersections where it is your job to not leave gaps, pay attention to the light, go quickly, and follow the car in front of you closely. We all need to get through the light, Janice.

Well, Jan, if you are that impatient that you have to honk or give me the finger, I will literally take my sweet time.... and go slower. You can wreck your car being stupid as you try to drive around me. I hope you don't hit the baby stroller I'm patiently waiting to safely see cross the street.

I always assume someone is stopped for a pedestrian. I've seen a pedestrian killed by an impatient driver.

Someone did this to me when I stopped for a school bus in the opposite lane, red lights flashing and everything. He peeled out around me and I really, really hope the bus’ camera caught his plate. Dumb douche.

I cross a 4 lane road with my kids every morning. There’s a huge crosswalk and a light, and people still often nip our heels peeling off the second we’ve cleared the front of their car.

Patience and commuting don’t often go hand in hand sadly.

Agreed OP. In most cases, the things people get angry about on the road are things that might cost them a few seconds in terms of their arrival time. Everyone needs to take a deep breath.
