Did you read the press release dummy? The feds i.e. Biden administration arrested and detained him. The locals in Fairfax ignored the detainer and released him. I can't read these articles anymore. Congress needs to cross aisles and legislate. I know compromise is unpopular, but neither side is totally wrong and they need to find points of agreement and move forward. There are so many ways to encourage legal immigration that is (gasp!) safe and beneficial to our country, and discourage the rampage across our country of people we have no idea about.

This is a perfect example of why I have zero faith that these problems can be fixed. These sanctuary policies are evil and not based in any sort of rational morality. And for the people who support sanctuary policies these sorts of problems don’t even register.
