Plaka Grill in Vienna and FC for casual meal/takeout. Nostos for finer dining (especially if you like fish). Have not tried the others recommended.

If you like Greek food you will likely also like Lebanese. Try Lebanese Taverna- several northern va locations/ Arlington, Tysons, etc.

My Asian family recently discovered a new favourite, Greek via Lidl's olive and feta salad. Each of them used to taste very salty but both immersed in olive oil and mixed sometimes with mushrooms or dried fruits become super delicious. We went to a Greek place (with menu in Greek) during a recent trip to Queens, NY to try gyros, suvlaki, Greek salad, kalamari, and spanakopita. It was a hearty meal and we became hooked. Naturally I've been looking at tickets to Greece. I'd like to know, before we go there, what are some good Greek restaurants in local northern Virginia?
