Same with Smith Island cakes. They ship but I've seen them at the Safeway in Bethesda

Honestly, if you can plan ahead I would just order the real deal from Gambino's in NOLA. They ship it frozen and you thaw it for a day. We get them for special occasions.

Bayou Bakery has it on its catering menu. There's an ordering minimum for catering, but maybe you need things other than cake?
