She'll be in 64 in April. Not midlife, more like 3/4 life crisis. But I hope she pulls through.

This makes me so sad. I've always liked her (doesn't everyone?), even though I never watched One Day at a Time. Despite being a celebrity in her own right and married to one of the world's greatest rock guitarists, she always seemed relatable.

I read her first memoir that detailed her marriage to Eddie, among other things. Seemed like she was doing well with Tom. They dated for several years and were married for ten. Awful that it ended this way and hurt her so badly.

PTSD-like trauma. It can happen to people that are victims of adultery/cheating spouses who have been gaslighted and emotionally abused for years. It can literally drive some people crazy.

I follow her on Instagram, and she does seem to mention this almost daily. Not the ex-husband by name, but I assume that's who she is referring to.

For anyone who goes through that, is it good to continue to focus on it as he/she works through it?

She does seem to talk a lot about him. I think she has been divorced for about a year.

Who can blame her for taking another chance to be married? Her first mareiage was so nontraditional that maybe she thought this would he a better fit.

Either way, this sounds so very ugly. I wish her peace moving forward in a healthier way.

Yeah she's been like this for awhile now. She said Tom is a narcissist and would do things like laughing at her weight. She had to pay him a few million dollars after finalizing the divorce too

What did her ex-H do to her? And I don’t mean Eddie. Her IG is so full of posts about narcissists, people doing people wrong, healing, etc.


I like Valerie, she just seems mired in this.
