This is correct. Good luck making your decision, twin mom. Very bittersweet situation.

If I remember right there are usually about 100 out of boundary students taken in by the lottery. Depends on the local student population coming to the school. Don’t give up though. You can always ask in August in case some kids dropped out and they have spots available.

Don't forget that the lottery will be run again in March. Hang in there!

Why would you think all twins would be disqualified? It's a lottery. Scores are irrelevant. Neither was randomly selected. Sorry they were disappointed.

It’s a pure lottery. No consideration to of scores. You just had bad luck

Good to know, thanks. Were they out of bounds, and were they both in G&T?

We got a rejection. Parkland was our first choice and we applied for twins. Does this factor in decisions? I know they say lottery but do they automatically get disqualified before entering the pool? Does this mean we are rejected from all three schools and if there is an opening in one of them we still have chances? Anyone with twins who got accepted? For us, one twin is good in Math and Reading (not the MAP-M 300 club I hear of but 250 in MAP-M this winter which would make it early 90s percentile probably??) and one is just average.
