I know this because both said they took the test in the regular classroom environment with everyone else in class. I emailed counselors to confirm but obviously haven’t heard back because of the snow days.
What recourse, if any, do I have? I can’t imagine they allow retakes, so this is just a “make a polite fuss so they know not to forget again” scenario? I am particularly worried because the IEP DS is in third grade and I want him in compacted math and ELC next year. He would do so much better with smaller classes and some challenge!
I guess it depends on the school because where I'm at the compacted math and ELC classes are actually larger than the regular 4th grade classes. The work is more challenging though.
