Unpaid work is absolutely ridiculous. Reading your paycheck learning about taxes is a life skill

+1 also tell them to check their emails for college interviews. I had to email a student four times, text and call them to get a reply back for a college interview.

My 24 DS barely checks his VM. It's just not a primary method of communication for that age and younger.

My husband says his employees are the same way

True, but they are doing this special program that makes them no cost to the employer. I don’t k is of the program gives them a stipend or what. They put together application packets and applied, so they should be told to check their email for any potential responses. This logic holds for paid and unpaid positions.
