We’re out of zone and he did get a letter that he didn’t get a spot at either. I wonder if there is anything to do to increase likelihood?

My son didn't get into Parkland in either the first or second round of the lottery, so we had given up on that option, and then he got an offer in late July!

(I'm not completely sure how it works, but I'm wondering if that's common for kids applying outside the MSMC. Seems logical that it could be.)

Are you in zone or out? I know a few people who got their first choice round two.

Did you get a rejection letter OP? We applied too and am wondering if we will get a letter from MCPS.

Does anybody know what the chances are of getting into Parkland or Argyle if you didn’t get a spot in the first round of lottery? My son wants to go to one of these more than his home school or the application magnets and I’m not sure what his chances are. Related, is there anything to do to increase his chances??
