fyi it took me about 1.5 months from application to my first sub assignment - that was with the previous sub coordinator, and included being closed 2 weeks for winter break.

This right here. Staff were off for half of December. Probably an inbox full of emails.

LM doesn't respond, holidays or not. Not to emails, not phonecalls, not for anything important. Syphax employees FTW!

You have to give them time to recover from all those paid holidays.

Who do you email? I'm not seeing a contact person anywhere on the application site. I just can't tell if something is missing or if I am supposed to do something else ... or if they are just being really slow.

A quick search says: subs@apsva.us

Do you have a school you are interested in subbing at? Their sub coordinator might be able to help

Good luck. The current APS sub coordinator is incredibly unresponsive and unhelpful.

For APS HR, the typical response time is a very wide range. It definitely can’t hurt to call someone after that long of a wait. Sometimes they need a nudge.

Applied to be a sub for APS in November. Application status shows as active. Letters of recommendation are there, have uploaded documents. Not heard anything. Is there something I need to do? Is this typical? Should I call someone? Thanks
