Same -- extra light olive oil. Make sure ingredients are all olive oil

I use costco canola oil. Great for deep frying too. I wouldn't use flavored oils for baking.

Canola oil can have a fishy taste even when heated below the smoke point. Go for avocado or grape seed oil. Or corn oil if concerned about price point.

Peanut oil when it gets old is really strong. So it depends how fast you use it.

Use a different oil. I bake with peanut oil. None of us are allergic.

The last generic brand of canola oil I got for baking has a bad distinct taste and I ended up throwing the cake I baked it in.

Any recommendations for bland canola / vegetable oil for baking ?
