The underlying premise here is that you are judging the women, not primarily the men.

And no, I don't determine a woman to be somehow less worthy because they have a passion for fitness.

Full stop at "influencer". I judge all that stuff. So cringe. But a guy marrying a yoga instructor? Don't care.

Why do you concern yourself over who other people marry? Get a hobby.

If you want to go ahead, but your judgment means nothing, signifies nothing and accomplishes even less than that.

I guess he isn't that wealthy but he is educated and went into financial advising specifically to make money so I think he meets most of this type of male. It's a weird combination to me. Very surface and status level while also hanging around the pot crowd pretending you dont care too much about money.

Yes. I don't know about social circle being different but it seems this old boyfriend from a long time ago definitely married her for her body and hippie like vibe and waited till his 40s to do so. I met some of his exes and they were kind and pretty but he dumped them before her. He now lives out with her in a community known for being very laid back and irresponsible and they have a child. She has gotten uglier with wrinkles from all the sun and now looks older than him. She's about 8 years his younger. I'm glad they are both happy but he used a lot of other women during child rearing years and it seems like he was just looking for a hot body to show off and be with while not really working hard at anything himself. Just seems kind of Peter Pan to me now. The way you might view a woman who dumped many hard working men that didnt make enough for her in her eyes. He was a kind and interesting person and a great boyfriend so I guess I'm just disappointed that this is all many people strive to be and they use people for 20 plus years to get there.

I challenge your implication that parity of educational backgrounds is somehow a fundamentally virtuous romantic mating selection criterion.

Why would that be so? And what would make it more virtuous than any other attribute, such as physical fitness?

Eh... I'm a yoga bod size 0 professional and attractive woman so I've never viewed this as like, some type of thing to be "against" like they had something "more." We all hung out and are friends! There is a slight amount of.. skepticism? With the influencer/yoga/dancer types that want a platform? Not into it. Do I judge these men? Well, I would judge MY man, but that means nothing.

Basically do you judge them for dating and marrying women because they have great bodies but would not have likely been in their social circle or have the same kind of educational background?
