There aren’t necessarily feeders, just many like- minded families happen to go to these schools. My feel is that they base admissions on if you will fit in culture-wise and will help reinforce shared values as parents.

We’re currently looking at Catholic preschools/elementary schools in the area (and trying to buy a home) and wondering what schools tend to feed into these two schools. We know St. John the Beloved in McLean does, but we’re not ready to move that far out yet so wondering what other schools kids at The Heights and Oakcrest attended previously (St Mary’s in Old Town and St Rita’s in Del Ray are two that we are strongly considering).
NOTE, I am NOT looking for opinions as to whether we should or should not send our kids to these Opus Dei schools, so please leave those comments at the doorthanks in advance!
Please note that these people procreate so much that some years, after all siblings, faculty and Opus Dei kids have been admitted, there are few, if any, spots left. So I'd be wary about planning your life around it.
