We are at a Christian K-8 school and follow mcps. So we’re getting out at 1230 today.

To the poster that says why are we doing private, I’m not seeing a correlation between closing early one day and my reason for choosing private which has nothing to do with length of school day.

SR is dismissing early and all afternoon activities are canceled as well. Very frustrated that SR continues to follow MCPS.

After school activities cancelled--but classes will not end early. School is over at usual time 2:30pm.

All the mothers should just quit work now forever. Live in a van down by the river. We’ll be fine, but that way, the teachers can beat rush hour, when all the regular private businesses close.

Was shocked to hear local public school systems are closing early today because of anticipated rain/wind. Our private doesn’t follow MCPS for delays/closings. Are any privates closing early?
