Make them a statement rather than an issue by painting them a cool color and getting matching shades

You can also spray frosting on. It's super easy I just did this for a bathroom window. Can be removed easily if you don't like it.

A quick, inexpensive fix would be a frosting film. Fairly easy to apply.

Oh and I shall hold say what is kind of weird is that the French door windows more look into the hallway outside each bedroom but there is no solid door between the French door and the actual bedroom. But it’s not like the bed is right on the other side of the French door. It’s kind of a weird setup but that’s what we’ve got!

Yeah I realize this is one option. I just don’t think it looks very good.

Was hoping there were more attractive curtain options.

I think replacing the doors isn’t in the immediate budget, we are investing in other things right now, so I need to do something for the short term.

And by solid door, I mean sets of solid double doors. We have this going into a bathroom. Put solid doors on. It is pretty, but not that practical.

Just bought a new house and there are two sets of French doors inside it.

Right off the main living area, there is a set of French doors that leads to the first floor primary suite of rooms - two walk in closets off a hallway and then the primary bedroom. Oddly there is no door between the primary bedroom and the hallway. I guess we could hang one but I still think we'd need/want privacy when walking to the closets.

Then upstairs the main guest suite has French doors.

What is the best way to provide privacy with these doors? I feel like the little curtains mounted on the door blocking only the glass look dated. I've seen photos of a regular curtain rod with drapes that sit inside the bedroom and are pushed to the side of the French doors as well.

Any recommendations?
