There are different code requirements for finished and unfinished spaces. Adding the paneling could make the space finished.

Anonymous wrote:If it is conditioned space, you need insulation otherwise you will get condensation and condensation leads to mold. You can add cheap paneling on top of the insulation and whitewash that.
